3 new villages have been added: Grass, Rain, and Snow. They are not like Leaf, Sand, and Sound. They are not starting villages, and no clans are being added for these villages. These villages are essentially territories that can be controlled.
When the server is first created, the 3 villages will be neutral. Kages can walk into a neutral village and capture it. You must remain in the village for 60 seconds and take no damage to capture a neutral village, so you can be interrupted by enemies. It announces when you're capturing a neutral village, so expect people to try and stop you. After the 60 seconds is over, you capture the village for your village. Let's say you're from Leaf, and you're trying to capture Rain. Leaf would take control of Rain.
After capturing a neutral village, it is far from safe. Another Kage can come and contest it. If another Kage trys to capture a neutral village you are in control of, it will trigger a war. Let's say the Sound Leader comes and contests the Rain village that Leaf is currently controlling. Sound and Leaf will go to war over the Rain village, and the winner takes control of Rain.
After a war has concluded, the victor enjoys 30 minute immunity for the village they captured. So let's say Sound beat Leaf and took over Rain(shocker right?). No one can try and take over Rain for 30 minutes after Sound has taken control. This immunity does not apply to capturing an uncontrolled village. If you capture an uncontrolled vllage, it can be contested immediately.
It is possible for a village to control all 3 at the same time.
Being in control of a village grants the following bonuses:
- +5% damage/defense, which doubles if you're inside a village controlled by your home village. So if your home village controls all 3 neutral villages, you would have 5 + 5 + 5 = 15% damage and defense increased. But if you're inside a village controlled by your home village, you would have 5 + 5 + 10 = 20% damage and defense.
- +0.25 influence gain on missions. So +0.75 influence gain if you control all 3 neutral villages.
Grass is in the top left corner, Snow in the top right corner, and Rain is in the bottom right corner.
