In my honest opinion, the game is pretty stale right now. Granted the fighting is pretty fun but it feels like there is no content in the games, just the core gameplay. Leveling is not an enjoyable experience, so when you remove caps it deters a lot of people from the game because they have no incentive to continue playing other than the promise of "it'll get more fun later".


CAP
In my opinion, having no cap is just not a good game system in a PvP game. Have you ever seen a successful game with no cap? I haven't, and there is a reason for that. It coerces veteran players to keep training to stay strong while preventing new players from being relevant without putting as many hours as the strongest players already have and if the strongest players keep training they'll never realistically catch up. Now, I know what most of you are thinking; "We've played the longer so of course we deserve to be stronger." Hate to break it to you, but it does not mean you deserve to be stronger. It definetly means you SHOULD be stronger but it shouldn't be handed to you. People who play longer should know how to fight better, what clans are stronger and how to exploit them, the weakness in other clans, better builds, etc etc. If they supposedly play that much longer and get stomped by a new max cap player then they suck, plain and simple. Either get better and stop bitching or move on to the next game.

My suggestion for the cap is to;
  1. Re add rebirth. It gave build diversity, was a fun mechanic overall.
  2. Add 1 more rebirth onto the final one, letting you get a cap of 140 max instead of 160.
  3. Make sure to add the rebirth effects such as "Increases exp required for stats by 100 per rebirth". This will increase the grind for the max level quite a bit and make it so you have to play for a while to reach max cap.



That would only fix part of the problem though, there is a lot of lacking content in the game. Expectedly so, since its nowhere near finished but if it stays like this creating a cap won't really add many players to the playerbase. The long mission c/d isn't justified when there is so little to do otherwise, especially for lower level characters. If you aren't doing a mission you're training, which isn't fun. You have to cap banners but that gets boring after a while. There needs to be more things like banner capping, small points of contention around the map for multiple different classes. Each of these points of contention would only be available for one class and each gives different amounts of EXP.

Classes would be: Genin (Class 4), 3 Genin + 1 Jounin (Class 3), Chunin (Class 2), Jounin and higher (Class 1).
Bounty hunting belongs to each one of these classes, but you can only bounty hunt people in your class or higher.
The point of contention wouldn't be like missions and have a c/d, just whenever you're able to do them.

Class 4 - Banners, Bounty Hunting
Banners would have a 5 minute cap c/d. Once you cap it, it stands for 5 minutes before low level NPCs spawn next to them. Gives 400 exp. These would be scattered all over the map, even more so than it is now.

You can bounty hunt other genin or people of higher rank if you want. Bounties give 1000 exp.

Class 3 - Escort Defend/Destroy (No bounty hunting)

If you've played GW 2 you may know about the escort missions. This is very similar, an NPC will go to a noble house from the village every once in a while. You can destroy enemy escorts or make sure yours gets to its destination. Once the escort is killed you must click on the escort and wait a few seconds (like a banner) before you can effectively destroy it. An ally of the escort can do the same to revive it. Genin get 1000 exp, Jounin gets 2000 exp.

Class 2 - Assassination, Bounty

Key figures will sometimes lurk around noble house territory. Chunin can kill the ones around enemy noble houses to gain some experience. They're usually gaurded by strong NPCs, which have to be taken out before the figurehead can be killed. 5000 exp.

You can bounty hunt other chunin or people of higher rank if you want. Bounties give 3000 exp.

Class 1 - Noble Houses, Bandums

These are 11 noble houses scattered across the map. 3 near each village, 1 near the akat base and 1 in the middle of the map. These noble houses hold aren't that big, but they cover a large territory when captured. Players gain a bonus weaker than the village bonus' in this area if they've captured it and it has an hour c/d on capturing it again. There are NPCs gaurding it, when people try to capture it, it will alert the whole village and there is a boss NPC in each one that has to be killed before it can be captured. 20k exp, 1 hr c/d before it can be captured again.

Bandums would give more EXP, have stronger NPCs defending them and it can increase/decrease the village bonus. The village that captures it gets +0.5x the village bonus (while in the village) of the village it is in. So if Leaf captures Sand's bandum they gain a melee/defense/jutsu bonus in sand village.


I doubt these suggestions will ever amount to anything but I think the game would be much better with these in it. The game has a competent coder but he is MIA most of the time so these will never see the light of day on a live server, if the community even like them.

The suggestions are good and stuff but theres actually no reason to suggest anything anymore. If you check the other suggestion posts youll find a lot of stuff that could add more content to this game. Im actually almost sure I could find all these suggestions you posted in other forgotten posts.
This game got a pretty competent coder but hes also lazy as hell. Ie the reason he removed rebirth is cause he was too lazy to balance the perks. And the cap was removed cause hes too lazy to add more endgame stuff.
The only way to get him work on the game is probably to delete his LoL account. Then again, hed probably choose to start over than working on nng.
