What is Rebirth?

Rebirth is an option for players who like to go above and beyond the rest.
Players start out with a level cap of 60. Once they hit their level cap, they can Rebirth.
Rebirthing will give them their clan's passive, and increase their level cap by 20.
You can Rebirth two times, for a maximum level cap of 100 and 2 clan passives.
For the sake of clarity, Rebirthing from the Yuki clan into the Taijutsu clan will give you Yuki's passive.
Then, Rebirthing from the Taijutsu clan into the Kaguya clan will give you Taijutsus' passive.
So you'd be a Kaguya with the Yuki and Taijutsu passives and a level cap of 100.
Additionally, Rebirthing also gives your character a broad increase in power.

Effects of Rebirth

Increases your level cap by 20 per Rebirth
Increases your maximum health by 200 per Rebirth
Increases your maximum chakra by 100 per Rebirth
Increases health, chakra, and energy regen by 5% per Rebirth
Increases damage dealt by 5% per Rebirth
Decreases damage taken by 5% per Rebirth
Increases maximum experience required for leveling up stats by 100

Passives

As stated before, passives are obtained by Rebirthing from a clan
However, there are Tier 1 passives and Tier 2 passives
Your first Rebirth will grant you that clan's Tier 1 passive
Your second Rebirth will grant you that clan's Tier 2 passive

Tier 1 Passives

Kaguya - +4 Strength, +4 Stamina

Hyuuga - +8 Speed.

Uchiha - +8 Handseals

Iron - +8 Ninjutsu

Wind - +4 Ninjutsu, +4 Handseals

Sand - +4 Ninjutsu, +4 Stamina

Senju - +4 Stamina, +4 Speed

Copy Ninja - +4 Intelligence, +4 Speed

Clay - +4 Ninjutsu, +4 Intelligence

Taijutsu Specialist - +8 Taijutsu

Nara - +4 Handseals, +4 Intelligence

Yuki - +8 Intelligence

Medic - +4 Taijutsu, +4 Speed

Snake - +8 Stamina

Spider - +4 Strength, +4 Ninjutsu


Tier 2 Passives

Kaguya - Deal an additional 12 unmitigated damage on all attacks

Yuki - Increases critical strike chance by 10%. Critical strikes slow enemies for 1 second.

Iron - Deals 3% of the enemies max hp over 5 seconds after attacks. Does not stack.

Hyuuga - Melees deal 20% extra damage to people if you hit them from behind and stun them for 1 second. The stun has a 2 second cooldown.

Wind - Create a permanant shield made out of wind that deals damage equal to 2% of your maximum chakra to nearby enemies every second.

Sand - Upon death, you will get back up and go into a sand shell, gaining massive defense and regeneration. You will regenerate 20% of your hp over 5 seconds. Has a 30 minute cooldown.

Uchiha - There is a 20% chance when taking damage to initiate body illusion, flashing behind the enemy. This effect cannot occur when stunned. Has a 10 second cooldown.

Senju - Using a jutsu regenerates 3% of your missing up over 5 seconds. Does not stack.

Copy Ninja - Take 15% less damage against players of the same clan as you.

Clay - Deal 1% more damage for every 100 maximum health you have.

Taijutsu Specialist - Increase critical strike chance by 15% and critical strike defense by 15%.

Nara - Deal 1% more damage for every 50 maximum chakra you have.

Medic - When you hit below 30% hp, emit a healing wave that heals you and nearby allies for 15% of your maximum hp. Has a 3 minute cooldown.

Snake - Gain +1 regeneration for every 8 attack power you have.

Spider - Gain 75% attack speed.

How do you Rebirth?

First, you must reach your level cap
Upon death, there will be a small chance that you will be summoned to the Rebirth area.
You can only Rebirth 2 times, so after your second Rebirth, you cannot Rebirth again.
You are not forced to Rebirth, you can return to your hospital if you choose not to Rebirth.

Excellent work as always Dante. One question though: Does the first rebirth passives stack above the regular Stat cap? (For example: If you have a +8 Ninjutsu passive. Is it possible to get 48 Ninjutsu with it?

Yes. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep a stat cap or not. If I do, Tier 1 passives will increase the stat cap

Very nice. All of the passives look balanced and useful, and it's made my decisions on how to build my character much harder. Definitely looking forward to getting back into the game this wipe.

Can't wait to see how many people refuse to read the change log and make a clan only to realize it isn't even their final form.

Some of these look broken...
Question, passives such as:
-Iron - Deals 3% of the enemies max hp over 5 seconds after attacks. Does not stack.
-Senju - Using a jutsu regenerates 2% of your maximum hp over 3 seconds. Does not stack.
Do these have a cooldown? per how many seconds can it occur, right after the 5 or 3 seconds are over?

stat cap will remain at 40 as it has been, and Yes Dante has truly outdone himself with this one. This whole update has been just me and him working hard, and i am personally stoked for this Update, so i hope you guys enjoy this to the fullest and just to make sure you read it, RB is only a Option not mandatory "Do whatever the fuck you want to do"

Well now that I read this again it makes me more happy lol The Cap is super lower then before which means less training Smile Im perfect with this RB system Surprised I also have a question If I become a Tai Spec and RB into a Tai Spec do I get Tai Spec Passive? Surprised

With a level cap of 100, how much hp do you suppose you'll have? 1500 maybe? 2% of 1500 is 30. 30 divided by 3 is 10. So you get 10 hp per second for 3 seconds. I don't see that as broken.

As for Iron's. 3% of 1500 is 45. 45 divided by 5 is 9. So you're taking 9 damage per second for 5 seconds. Again, don't really see this as broken.

"Does not stack" means the effect cannot happen again until the previous effect has worn off.

If you have these passives, you don't have any other passives, seems like a decent trade to me.

Yes. If you so choose, you can have Taijutsus' Tier 1 and 2 passive, and end as Taijutsu Specialist

I don't really see the sand passive being all that op. It isn't like snake immortality where it stuns and you can move around. I assume that you will be locked into the sand shell for those 5 seconds you are regenerating, if not then i suggest losing some or all your added regen and defense if you do cancel it. Seems like it is on par with the other passives imo.

The Sand passive is: when you die, after a small delay, you go into a big sand shell and float into the air for 5 seconds, becoming untargetable by most attacks. While in the air, you regenerate 20% of your maximum health back. After the 5 seconds, you'll float back down and the shield will disperse, then you can move.
