It still uses handseals to cast the jutsu.
- Sand Shield
After you take down your sand shield, you become frozen for a couple seconds. Not sure if that's how it's supposed to be, but that kind of defeats the purpose of a defensive jutsu.
- Sand Coffin
Enemies trapped in the sand can still attack and throw projectiles
